My wife and I have always wanted to see them and hoped to travel one day to observe the dancing lights in the night sky; however, this past fall, that opportunity came to us. For those unfamiliar with this natural phenomenon, the sight of vibrant colors streaking across the dark sky as though someone is painting a canvas right before you is nothing short of beauty at its finest. The experience can be surreal, especially for someone observing it for the first time on their homestead.
